About

Furever Loved was established in 2023 to bring compassionate and expert veterinary care to your home. We focus on hospice and end-of-life services, understanding that the love and bond you have with your pet are very special.

As a house call practice, we are able to dedicate the time needed for a visit that is convenient for you, and beneficial for your pet. Caring for pets inside their home, with their familiar surroundings and family close by, puts them at ease.

Dr. Kathryn Mattick

I started Furever Loved to help people and their pets navigate the journey of hospice and end-of-life care in a home setting. After practicing veterinary medicine in brick-and-mortar hospitals for 20 years, I recognized a need to spend more time with patients and their families, to feel unhurried, and to allow pets and their families to be as comfortable as possible under life’s most difficult circumstances.

This meant starting a mobile practice to be with my patients in their own homes, where I can support pets in the best possible way during their times of greatest need. Each bond with a pet is so special and deserves an individualized approach to veterinary care.

Originally from Chicago, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. I have a BA in Psychology from Skidmore College. For over a decade, I practiced in a clinic in the Seattle area and so enjoyed creating wonderful, long-lasting relationships with pets and their families. I have focused the majority of my veterinary career addressing the needs of cats. Cats are such interesting creatures, no two personalities are the same!

Allured by the beauty of the Pacific Northwest, I moved here after veterinary school. I have 2 cats, or should I say they have me? When I am not working, I enjoy gardening, hiking and cycling. Oh, and zipping around town on my Vespa, too.
